Experimental

Single crystals of C30H34B22Cl22Ni [rudi004] were []. A suitable crystal was selected and [] on a Bruker Photon III diffractometer. The crystal was kept at 100.00 K during data collection. Using Olex2 [1], the structure was solved with the SHELXT [2] structure solution program using Intrinsic Phasing and refined with the SHELXL [3] refinement package using Least Squares minimisation.

Crystal structure determination of [rudi004]

Crystal Data for C30H34B22Cl22Ni (=1471.00 g/mol): triclinic, space group P-1 (no. 2), a = 11.9319(4) Å, b = 13.0302(4) Å, c = 19.2173(6) Å, α = 93.964(2)°, β = 98.5600(10)°, γ = 97.1400(10)°, = 2919.90(16) Å3, Z = 2, T = 100.00 K, μ(CuKα) = 9.978 mm-1, Dcalc = 1.673 g/cm3, 93351 reflections measured (4.668° ≤ 2Θ ≤ 149.082°), 11733 unique (Rint = 0.0538, Rsigma = 0.0307) which were used in all calculations. The final R1 was 0.0385 (I > 2σ(I)) and wR2 was 0.1038 (all data).
